River Rally

The party will be from 4pm-9pm at Trailhead River Sports (2505 S Garfield St, Missoula, MT 59801

There will be several food trucks in attendance on Friday as well as drinks from a local beer vendor.

There will be raffles on tons of great river gear as well as a 50/50 raffle! All proceeds will go towards conservation efforts in our home watershed. We will have many river games set up, some free to play, others with the chance to win big discounts on items in store! There will be live music, the band is still undecided. Many local non-profits focused on our rivers will be in attendance to help provide literature and educate you on what the current state of conservation is in the Clark Fork drainage system. Many of our vendors will also be in attendance to show you all of their new products for the coming season and answer any questions!

The Trailhead’s annual Boat Swap is an excellent opportunity for folks to buy and sell used non-motorized boats and paddlesports equipment. This year’s Swap will take place on Saturday April 26 th at Trailhead River Sports, 2505 S. Garfield St, Missoula, MT 59801. The sale will begin at 12pm on Saturday and continue until 4pm. While we have no way of knowing what items will be in the Swap before the sale begins, we typically have a number of full size rafts (with and without frames), packrafts, canoes (including whitewater), hard and inflatable kayaks, hard and inflatable stand up paddleboards, as well as lots of accessories (PFDs, paddles, oars, throw bags, anchors, frame parts, etc). The Trailhead also uses the Boat Swap as a way to sell off any of our retired rental equipment, so it is a great opportunity to find a good deal on used but professionally cared for boats and equipment. Registration is free. Customers wishing to sell their gear set their own prices, although we are happy to help advise you on pricing. If your gear sells, you can elect to take 80% of the sale price in cash (checks will be issued on Monday after the Swap) or 110% of the selling price in store credit to the Trailhead/Trailhead River Sports. Gear you’d like to sell can be dropped off from 4pm-6pm on Friday, April 25 th , or between 8am-12pm on Satuday, April 26 th . Unsold gear needs to be picked up between 4pm and 6pm on Saturday afternoon.
