Trail Head River Sports offers one of the most complete outdoor gear rental inventories in Western Montana. When you choose to unplug and immerse yourself in nature let us guide you toward the best gear to make your time on the water unforgettable. Your safety is our top priority! We rent only the highest quality equipment that has been thoroughly inspected and cleaned after each use. Trail Head River Sports is dedicated to making your river experience as safe and as easy as possible but just remember we rent quality gear, not good decision making. That part is up to you!

We regularly update and maintain our large stock of canoes, rafts, kayaks, sup’s, and accessories including helmets, pumps, dry bags, PFD’s, and more. Summer rentals can be picked up after 5PM the evening before your selected rental day and must be returned by 11AM the morning after your selected rental day. Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance of pick-up will be fully refunded.  Cancellations within 48 hours will be given a voucher for a future rental. Trail Head River Sports will keep an encrypted credit card # on file for possible damages, late fees, lost or stolen equipment. However, Trail Head River Sports does not put a hold on your credit card equivalent to the deposit at the time of your rental.

Trail Head River Sports subscribes to Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks “Clean. Drain. Dry.” as a protection against the transmission of invasive species.
